Jesse recently joined Renwick Real Estate after 12 years living and raising her three children and two dogs in a house just outside Bedford Village. Jesse is from the Baltimore area, finding her way to her husband’s home town after time living in Shelburne, VT, Boulder, CO and San Francisco, CA. She and her family love Bedford’s sense of community, the natural beauty of the area, the wonderful friendships forged and the historic charm that has been thoughtfully preserved for more than 300 years. Jesse studied Conservation Biology at the University of Wisconsin and received her Master’s degree in teaching from Johns Hopkins University. She left teaching to raise her children, all of whom are thriving in our local public school system. She finds great value in being involved with and giving back to the community. Jesse is a board member of the Bedford Historical Society, co-chairs the annual Reverse Rett NYC benefit for the Rett Syndrome Research Trust, volunteers as a girls coach for the Fox Lane Youth Lacrosse program and is co-chair of the Bedford Village Beautification Committee, which maintains the gardens around the Bedford Village Elementary School. Jesse grew up on a farm in Maryland and loves being outside, riding, hiking, gardening and spending time with family. As the daughter of a real estate agent, she has always held an interest in the subtle details and charm of properties, envisioning their potential and how to make them "shine." Jesse believes that a good home is at the heart of every person and family’s happiness, she wants to help others find this.
