Marrying her exceptional designer’s eye with shrewd negotiation skills, real estate is a perfect fit for life-long Westchester resident Julia Klagsbrun. Prior to joining Renwick, Julia was the head designer and president of her eponymous fashion label. Her pieces were sold at Barneys and Neiman Marcus, as well at high-end boutiques both here and abroad. Julia was also a sought-after graphic designer for award-winning restaurants and successful political campaigns. An active and engaged member of the community, Julia served on the board of the Katonah Village Improvement Society and also revived the beloved Katonah Halloween Parade after the financial crisis of 2008 forced the Town to cut funding. She currently volunteers as a historic homes educator for the Bedford Historical Society and often lends her design skills to neighbors and local businesses. When not working on behalf of clients, she can be found hiking the local trails with friends and English Setter Charlie. Julia earned her BA from Connecticut College, as well as her MA in Philosophy from NYU and her MPH from Columbia University. She lives right in the village of Katonah with her husband and two sons.
